While I don’t have a formal dining room, I have just as much space as I need in my small dining nook. Most of the changes from the living room carried over here including new floors in 2015, the dolphin fin gray paint and newly painted ceiling. I also replaced the old, wobbly ceiling fan with a new fixture from Shades of Light.
In 2016 I started a brand new built-in to take advantage of the space and provide more seating.
The bench piece is done, including storage and a comfortable bench pad but I’ll be building on it a little more in 2017.
The bench pad even matches the curtains and rug in the kitchen mostly because I bought WAY too much fabric.
I really love the farmhouse style table and bench in here and can’t wait to finish the whole project. Since this space is open to the living room and kitchen it’s important that everything flow together and the paint scheme and floors really help with that goal.
